Today a friend and i were having a debate on what clothes should females wear to work/college even if the job requires a uniform.But its not the clothes we actually wear for working but the clothes we wear to work or school. I work in a corporate environment but i work in the mail room and we are required to wear uniforms at all time while working but we are not required to enter the building in our uniforms ,so we usually would wear casual attire to enter the building. Recently i noticed since its summer most of the women i work with have been wearing really inappropriate clothing to enter the building, i mean come on!!!!!!! belly shirts with ripped jeans, skin tight short dresses, in a nut shell as one of my friends would put it "club couture" TO THE WORK PLACE,am i the only one that find this stuff really inappropriate. Now for school , yes i know its summer but college is sort of a professional environment, is it really necessary to wear those daisy dukes or those belly shirts or a shirt where i can see your entire bra and jeans so low i can see your underwear.The way i was brought up its just a form of respect , for my fellow co-workers and professors. Clothes say a lot about the person wearing them. I have no idea if i am offending anyone (I'm probably the only one reading this) but i just think it's ridiculous that people don't care anymore.
